Just Fine Tables just delivered a new Small ‘Outdoor’ – ‘Indoor’ Table to Encore Resales. This is a replacement for the Small Table – Island shown in our previous post that Sold.
This Outdoor – Indoor Table is similarly built, slightly larger, and constructed as a table that can be used most anywhere!

This ‘Outdoor’ – ‘Indoor’ Table was just delivered to Encore Resales:

This table, like the one previously, is built entirely of pressure treated lumber to ensure long term service regardless of where the table is used. We hope you like it and the Rustic Looking Bench my partner, J’s-AVE, added to it.

More Rustic, Hand Built, Tables are on the way to Encore Resales, or Directly to You upon Request!! Currently, Just Fine Tables has one more table like the above, but slightly larger, and Viola, we are finally completing an Outside Buffet Bar Table that we started building over 2 years ago. Yes, over 2 years ago for the top.

A new Handmade Saw Horse Table-Desk with a Stained Maple Top is located in Booth 47 / 469 at Encore Resales Furniture and Consignment store in Pelham, AL.

Please note that this saw horse table-desk is similar to previous ones. It is based upon a picture of a fabric covered door laying on a couple of saw horses found in an article from “Southern Living” magazine (January 2011 issue).

The major difference in Just Fine Tables’ versions is that we build it from 100% wood that is completely attached to result in one continuous unit for stability and functionality.

A new Handmade Wine Bar-Buffet Table has been completed and is currently available to you for viewing and ownership at Encore Resales Furniture and Consignment Store.
This Wine Bar-Buffet Table was built with a single plank top of thick poplar wood. It comes with two (2) built-in shelves and a total of 10 wine bottle storage.

Oh by the way… you may have been asking what happened to our most recent “Country Chic” Big Farm Table. Well, it had a makeover of its skirt and legs to be black, much like many of our other farm tables, Country Tables, and most of our handmade coffee tables.
The table legs and skirt needed to be black to complement its new owner’s home.

We haven’t been sitting around at Just Fine Tables, but have been busier than ever. Here are some other projects complete or nearly complete.

1. A new handmade “Southern Living” Magazine SAW HORSE TABLE-DESK has been completed and is currently on display at Encore Resales. (will provide a picture soon)

2. Our recent Cedar Chest was updated to look as close to its true old age while being more compatible with today’s Birmingham furniture clientele. The Cedar Chest is at Encore Resales also.

AND,

3. A Butterfly Leaf Table has been Refinished be a Country Table that will seat up to six. This Now… Butterfly Leaf ‘Country Table’ will be at Encore Resales today. Please note that we are giving Serious Consideration to adding six country style ladder back chairs to go with this table to provide a complete ensemble.

We just completed a Handmade ‘Small Space’ Country Farm Table with a Stained Pine Plank top. Its skirt and turned legs are painted black for distinction.
The table is obviously designed for someone wanting a country style farm table, but who hasn’t enough space for a conventional large farm table.

A customized Coffee Table suitable for use either Indoors or Outdoors was recently delivered to Encore Resales Furniture and Consignment Store. The Indoor – Outdoor Coffee Table is built on a Heavy, but Decorative Metal Base. The top is treated lumber with a double coating of transparent deck stain to show the wood’s grain.

Though you might like to see this “HANDMADE ‘MAPLE TOP’ TABLE – DESK” that was nearly complete before our trip to Texas for business and pleasure.

The Table – Desk required a few minor TLC adjustments before we delivered it to ENCORE RESALES Consignment and Furniture Store where you can see and purchase it. That is, .. if it hasn’t found a new home in the greater Birmingham, Alabama furniture market before you get to ENCORE.

HERE IS THE HANDMADE “MAPLE TOP” TABLE – DESK-

PLEASE NOTE that you can seat up to Six (6) people around this table with appropriate chairs. Otherwise, the table as a desk would be a beautiful and functional addition to most anyone’s home / office.

The HISTORIC “Wisconsin Chair Company**” DROP LEAF DINING TABLE and CHAIR SET for the Greater Birmingham AL Antique and Vintage Furniture Market can be seen at Encore Resales Consignment & Furniture Store.

The Restored and Stylish Solid Hardwood Drop Leaf DINING TABLE with Six (6) MATCHING CHAIRS also has two (2) leaves allowing the use of all six chairs. Since the table is a Drop Leaf Table, you can use the table with 0, 2, 4, or 6 chairs depending on your space requirement and needs.

** HISTORY: The table and chairs are likely from the 1950’s as..(The Wisconsin Chair Co. closed their doors in 1959.)

As mentioned, the Drop Leaf Dining Table and Chair Set can seat from 0 to 6 as desired. Below are some thumbnail pictures of the table and chairs in different configurations.

From Just Fine Tables yesterday (4/27/12)-

Just a quick post today about our 1st table top offering that is more than wood. It is a Refinished Table with Four Natural Stone Tile Accents on a Stained Wood Top Table. Again, this is a refinished table. It’s really cool since it is on an open metal base and it easily allows for up to six (6) people to dine in pleasure.

FYI- The beautiful chairs are New Chairs from ENCORE RESALES Selection of new furniture. We added them to the table as they are an excellent match. These same new chairs were shown in previous posts with our handmade “Country CHIC” Thick Pine Top Farm Tables. FYI 2: We are building two (2) more of these farm tables currently; one for six diners and one for eight diners.

Additionally, we have a couple of Bar Stools at Encore Resales you might like to have in your home. As you can see in the picture below, they are sitting in front of the above Stone and Wood Topped Table.

Let’s all remember our friends from 1 year ago who suffered from the worst tornado activity in Alabama history. We know that a number of our tables and refinished furniture have found new homes with some of the survivors.
And, as a matter of fact, Just Fine Tables is in the construction phase of a Kitchen Island for one of the storm’s displaced survivors. The Kitchen Island is expected to be completed next week. Unfortunately, this survivor has had to move from Alabama to Georgia; however, we know that they may live in Georgia now, but their hearts remain in Alabama.

From Just Fine Tables blog–

We just completed the re-engineering and rebuilding of a table and chair set my partner, J’s-AVE, found somewhere in the greater Birmingham area. The table and chair set has been completely redone to be a COUNTRY TABLE with Matching Upholstered Chairs and Bench.

The table has a new stained Maple top and the legs have been redone in a distressed Cottage White. The table had 4 chairs with only 3 unattached seats when we started. As a result, we took two of the chair bottom legs and built a bench with a Maple Top to match the table top. We took two (2) of the complete chairs, restored them to match the color scheme of the table ensemble and re-upholstered the chair seats with a country plaid we thought would be appealing.

The final results of our efforts are shown below:

As with the majority of our Handmade table and refinishing work, this Country Table / Chairs / Bench Ensemble are displayed for sale at Encore Resales Consignment & Furniture Store.

For now, Just Fine Tables has a number of Custom Farm Tables, a Kitchen Island, and a couple of Wine Bar-Buffet Table orders to complete and more.
